Abu Dhabi, Mar. 17, 2009 (WAM) -- President, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received from Yemeni President, Abdullah Saleh, a letter dealing with fraternal relations and issues of mutual interest to the two countries.

Yemeni deputy prime minister for economic affairs and planning minister, Abdul Karim Ismael Al-Arhabi, presented the letter to the UAE President when the latter received him here today at the Al-Bateen Palace.

Sheikh Khalifa conveyed through the Yemeni minister greetings and wishes of good health to President Saleh and to the Yemeni people more progress and prosperity.

Present at the meeting were National Security Advisor, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Interior Minister, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Presidential Affairs Minister, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Department of Finance, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Deputy Presidential Affairs Minister, Ahmed Juma Al-Za'abi and Yemeni Ambassador, Abdullah Hussein Mohammed Al-Dafae.
