A two-day mega Toastmasters conference was held recently in Jubail at the Royal Commission's Conference Hall in Al-Fanateer.
Abdulaziz Al-Sharekh was the conference chairman. Among the event's highlights were impromptu and humorous speeches and uplifting international speeches.
Speech contests were punctuated by keynote addresses by Krishna Kumar and Adel S. Al-Dossary, a professor at King Fahd University Pteroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).
One unique feature was greater participation of Saudi youngsters in public speaking and leadership development.
The fun-packed educational programs were witnessed and supported by community and corporate leaders.
Conference Vice Chairman Venkat Devrajan said: "The success of the event was due to the talented team of committed Toastmasters, under the leadership and guidance of Division Governors Syed Jamal Zaheer and Ali Al-Sanad."
The Saudi youngsters, who won many events, reaffirmed their commitment to continue their journey with Toastmasters.
All winners of Division E&L competition will participate at the district level contest to be held on May 30-31 in Riyadh at the National Guard Health Affairs Unit.
