DAMMAM: Saudi Arabia-based Almajdouie and Holland-based De Rijke have decided to form a Joint Venture Organization under the name of Almajdouie De Rijke Logistics.
The organization will provide integrated end-to-end supply chain services exclusively to the existing and upcoming polymer industry in the Kingdom and the Mideast. These activities will be operated on the premises of the polymer producers as well as on its proper state-of-the-art logistics sites in Jubail and Yanbu. For that, the joint venture will dispose over dedicated land exceeding 500 000 sqm.Strong focus will moreover be put on distributing the products through an extensive worldwide network of hubs, including Europe, Mideast, sub-Indian continent and Far East.

We are at the eve of major developments in the polymer industry and the Joint Venture wants to be amongst the pioneers to deliver sustainable supply chain solutions to the petrochemical producers." explains S.I. Almajdouie Group, a company established in 1965, is leader in the field of integrated logistics, providing services such as logistics & distribution, transportation, customs clearance, freight forwarding. Moreover other fields, such as car distribution, steel industry, and real estate are operated too. The group employs over 2 500 motivated persons.
De Rijke was established in 1945 and over the years has built up a solid reputation in delivering supply chain solutions to the chemical industry in Europe. Today it operates 35 logistics centres spread over 11 European countries with around 1,900 employees.
