Doha: The Safari Group has announced a number of prizes to be given away through lucky draws and a mega raffle draw among customers of Safari Mall.
In a first of its kind, Safari Mall has announced QR1m as the mega prize in the inaugural shopping promotion raffle draw. Safari group chairman Hamad Dafer Al Ahbabbi, Managing Director Aboobacker Madappatt and General Manager Zainul Abideen announced this at a press conference at the mall yesterday
Customers who purchase products worth QR50 will be eligible for the mega draw with a Toyota Prado and Camry being the second and third prizes. There will be 20 forth prizes of gift voucher worth QR500 and 100 fifth prizes of gift vouchers worth QR200.
The promotion, which started yesterday, will end on February 15 next year.
In addition to the raffle draw, there are promotions on various products at the mall. Safari Mall will give away to the lucky customers a Toyota Prado for Uniliver products, a Kia car for Americana products, a Toyota Yaris for Wipro products and a Toyota Fortuner for Geepas products through draws.
The Managing Director of Safari Group Aboobackar Madapatt, said: "This is the first time such a huge cash prize is being given as the mega prize in a raffle draw by a hyper market in Qatar."
"This is just the beginning of many more surprises to unfold in the coming days. Moreover we believe that we have been able to recognise and honour the needs of our customers and they have already recognised the difference in our approach," he said.
He also mentioned that the spacious interior of the mall helps the shoppers to select products conveniently and avoid unnecessary delay. "Safari Mall with the latest facilities is all set to be the ultimate shopping experience in Qatar," he added.
General Manager Zainul Abideen, said: "We have been able to make available to all the customers quality products at the lowest prices in the market. This has been one of the major reasons why people have chosen Safari as their number one shopping destination."
He also mentioned that they have been able to avoid middle men in their dealings resulting in lower prices of the products. He also opined that Safari Mall has been instrumental in controlling the price of the products in the market through healthy competition and providing a great help for the customers especially the middle and lower classes of the society.
