BEIRUT: The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Mexico, the Mexican Embassy in Lebanon, Ambassador Jorge Alvarez Fuentes, and Cultural Attache Antonio Lopezr'os, in collaboration with the Department of Architecture and Design at the American University of Beirut (AUB), are inviting world renowned Spanish architect Miquel Adria to give a lecture "on Contemporary Mexican Architecture" on Friday April 24, 2009 at 6 p.m. at the Architecture Lecture Hall (ALH), Dar al-Handassah Building, Department of Architecture and Design, AUB. Entry to campus is only accessible from the Main Gate of AUB on Bliss Street. The lecture will be preceded by the opening of an Exhibition of Mexican Architecture books and periodicals at 5 p.m. Films about 20th Century Mexican Architecture will also be shown. The exhibit and films will run until Thursday April 30, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Exhibit will be closed on the weekend. - The Daily Star
