Doha - Developers from the Philippine, C&P Prime Properties have launched a marketing campaign for various housing projects and condominiums for the Filipino community in Qatar.
The Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Qatar are being offered an opportunity to choose a house and plot in the Philippines with prices starting from Philippine Pesos 500,000 through C&P Prime Properties' International Partner in Qatar.
Engineer Lito Copino, Division Head of C&P Properties said that prices for the properties start at 500,000 Philippine Pesos (approximately QR 50,000) with prospective buyers required to make a down payment of between 10 per cent and 20 per cent in 12 months installments.
Buyers will then have an option of paying the remainder either through bank loans in the Philippine that are in general payable for a period of five to 15 years or through a long-term loan from the Philippine landing firm, PAG-IBIG that offers a period of up to 30 years for payment, he told The Peninsula yesterday.
Copino said the scheme has been made flexible to help overseas Filipino workers with modest incomes to own a property at home without hassle.
Division Head of C&P Prime Properties, the International Marketing Subsidiary of developers Camella Homes and Communities and Crown Asia, Engr. Carlito S. Copino was in Doha to launch the products from all over the Philippines.
A grand launch was held recently in which Isaias Begonia, Philippine Ambassador to Qatar was the chief guest. He advised attendees to spend their money wisely through investments like housing projects. "Study the projects of the various companies being offered to you carefully and make sure to make the right decision," he said.
Also present at the function were Labor Attache Primo Vidal, Welfare Officer Hector Cruz, PAG-IBIG representative Pamela Bautista and SSS representative Bennette Cueto.
Engineer Carlito noted that through the years Camella Homes and Communities have remained true to the company's vision and mission, and provided homes and communities to over 100,000 Filipino families from as far north as Pangasinan, to down south in Davao and in the different areas in Metro Manila.
Vicky Mustafa, the International Partner in Qatar assured the Filipino residents that the Qatar office is committed to assist prospective buyers, advise and protect their interests.
