DOHA: Qatar Airways UK-Doha flights are back to normal with London Heathrow Airport resuming, yesterday, as snow and ice continued to cause havoc at airports in Europe. Qatar Airways operated no flights from London Heathrow on December 19 as London Heathrow Airport authorities had closed it to scheduled flights until yesterday.
"We had to cancell three of our flights and now, the services have resumed. We are working with the airport authorities in UK put our passengers on flight.The airline will clear the backlog of customers whose travel plans have been affected by the disruption. All the passengers will be flown to their final destination," a Qatar Airways official said. Customers who have yet to begin their journey are urged to check availability and confirm the status of bookings through their local Qatar Airways reservation office or through the airline's website at www.qatarairways.com before travelling to the airport.
