New York, Jan 12th, 2010 (WAM) -- HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the Republic of Kenya, during which she distributed food rations to school children.
As a Messenger of Peace, The United Nations Organization (UNO) announced that Princess Haya is currently visiting Kenya to inspect the United Nations World Food Program's (WFP) projects. Princess Haya said that "My message is simple which is that our priorities should be devoted to health and education, especially for children." Princess Haya also visited a hospital where she distributed food to pregnant and lactating women as the program has established a project for "The nutrition of mothers and children".Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2010.
