JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on Tuesday ordered that the three woman teachers of Baraim Al-Watan, who died while trying to save students from a major fire that hit the school on Nov. 19, be awarded posthumously the King Abdul Aziz Medal of the First Order.
JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on Tuesday ordered that the three woman teachers of Baraim Al-Watan, who died while trying to save students from a major fire that hit the school on Nov. 19, be awarded posthumously the King Abdul Aziz Medal of the First Order.
Education Minister Prince Faisal bin Abdullah said the bereaved families of the three teachers -- Ghadeer Kattua, Reem Al-Nahari and Souzan Al-Khaledi would be given SR1 million each in appreciation of their sacrifices in the service of students.
