His Highness, Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on Sunday, received Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, Atef Tarawneh, who delivered the Amir a letter from His Majesty King Abdullah II.
In the letter, King Abdullah II stressed Jordanian-Kuwaiti ties and thanked Kuwait for its noble stances toward Jordan in addressing economic challenges facing the Kingdom.
His Majesty commended Kuwait's efforts and role in hosting the second international conference of donors to support the humanitarian situation in Syria and hailed Sheikh Sabah's relentless endeavors to back pan-Arab solidarity.
Sheikh Sabah thanked the King for his letter and praised the wise policy pursued by His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Sheikh Sabah paid tribute to Jordan's support to Arab Gulf countries' issues and the constant coordination the Kingdom and Kuwait maintain on various issues.
