"WE Can Prevent Fire In Your Premises" is the  theme of the latest invention "Oxy-Reduct" presented in to the Saudi market by SAMS (Saudi American Modern Systems).

Fire needs oxygen, without it, there will be no fire.  "Oxy-Reduct" prevents fire by using the air we breathe,  all it does, is reduce the oxygen in the protected area by only 6 percent, and fire will be impossible to start.

This is done through a machine that compresses the normal air into a filter, which generates 95 percent Nitrogen that is introduced into the protected area, subsequently, the Nitrogen will increase from its atmospheric ratio of 78 percent to 84 percent, and Oxygen will be reduced from 20.9 percent to 15 percent.  At this level, even arson cannot start one, but ta the same time, it is very safe for a normal human to get enter and work without any risk.

"Oxy-Reduct" can protect any area as long as the inlet of the fresh air is controlled.  It can also protect multiple areas with the same system, and provide redundancy and UPS in case of any problems with the power supply or the compressor.

Wagner Company monitors these systems 24/7 through the internet to assure their clients that their valuables are not only safe from fire; an expert team is looking after it too.

Oxy Reduct has been protecting valuable sites since 1998 and is approved by the Saudi Civil defense as well as SASO in addition to multiple international approving bodies such as the VdS and European standards.

Data centers, archives, chemical warehouses and dangerous goods are most of the areas that Oxy-Reduct can protect.

Oxy-Reduct will be one of three unique and advanced systems on display at "Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition center" on King Abdullah Rd. in Riyadh recently.

Other systems on display was the "Firetrace" - the US-made system that does 3 functions in less than 10 seconds (Fire Detection, Fire Suppression, and Alarm system)

"Titanus" was also shown -  the intelligent Aspiration Smoke Detection system that can illuminate false alarm due to dust or exhaust fume, in addition to the great feature of detecting over heated electrical wires and sending alarm hours before an electrical fire can start.
