ArabFinance: Orange Egypt and Etisalat Misr are claimed to be competing for another 20 megahertz of bandwidth in an offer from the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) on October 1st, Masrawy cited an authority official.

The auction included two 10 megahertz bands for $150 million (EGP 2.36 billion), the news portal added.

Orange and Etisalat sat out an auction last September, where Vodafone Egypt and Telecom Egypt bid for 60 megahertz of bandwidth.

The results of the first sale have not yet been announced.
