Muscat: Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel), the leading integrated telecom service provider in the Sultanate, has recently announced the official inauguration of the new outlet in Ruwi offering an array of Omantel fixed, mobile and internet services to individual and corporate customers.

The opening of Ruwi new outlet stems from the company's keenness to bring its services closer to customers in a very convenient, easy to reach locations reflecting Omantel's core values of simplicity.

It is also part of Omantel's customer experience enhancement project that includes the redistribution of Omantel outlets throughout the Sultanate, the renovation of old ones and opening of new stores to make the Omantel services even closer to customers.

The new outlet is located on Ruwi High Street, an area that has always been the hub of business since the dawn of the blessed renaissance and is easily reachable by the residents of Ruwi and surrounding areas as well as the businesses located in the Grand Muttrah area. The outlet is manned by a team of trained customer service representatives who speak Arabic, English and Urdu catering to the needs of a significant segment of Omantel customers residing in this area.

In a move that shows Omantel engagement with its customers, one of Omantel expatriate subscribers attending the event has been randomly selected to cut the ribbon announcing the official inauguration of the outlet. The event was well attended by public and families who enjoyed the different activities organised for the kids and families alike.
