MUSCAT -- Safeer Hotel and Tourism Company has announced the soft opening of Safeer Continental Hotel, a three-star hotel located in Al Khuwair.
The announcement was made at a press conference held at Safeer Continental Hotel by Saud A. Sanjor, general manager, Safeer Hotel Suites; Ali Al Hadi A Ibrahim, general manager; D. Shekar, general manager, hotel projects; and Ali Diab, real estate development manager, all three officials of Safeer Tourism & Hotel Co.
The RO5 million Safeer Continental Hotel has 83 well-designed suites with all the modern fixtures and fittings, satellite TV with multi channels, multi-cuisine restaurant, 24-hours room service, health club, indoor games, wi-fi internet connectivity, business centre and other allied services.
The unique selling point of this hotel is that it has four banqueting halls to cater to all types of conferences and parties to accommodate between 20-400 persons.
The officials of Safeer Hotel and Tourism Co. said that Safeer Continental would cater to businessmen and families coming from AGCC countries and from the interiors of Oman besides the regular tourists who look for comfort and spacious rooms.
"Our hotel apartments are bigger and comfortable when compared to the current rooms available in the same class of other properties in the market," says Shekar.
With a no-alcohol policy, Safeer hopes to become the most popular regional brand among families and AGCC businessmen and move towards global standards within the next five years.
