MUSCAT, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) said on Saturday it had issued certificates of deposit worth 144.7 million Omani Riyals (OMR), which equals about USD 290 million.

In a press release, the bank said the certificates bore an average interest of 3.67 percent with the highest being 3.7 percent.

The certificates of deposit have a maturity date of 28 days that will be due next March 21, said the bank.
