MUSCAT -- Oman Air Inflight Duty Free and Muscat Duty Free have linked up for a series of promotions aimed at both staff and customers.

Every passenger who spends more than OR 50 on Oman Air Inflight Duty Free will be offered the chance of winning a KIA Cerato 1.6 EX car in the airline's exciting raffle, which will be drawn on October 15, 2013.

Customers can choose from a wide range of attractive products, many of which are not available elsewhere and all of which are sold at highly competitive prices.

From perfumes, cosmetics and watches to scarves, jewellery and attractive memorabilia, Oman Air's Duty Free shopping experience has something for everyone.

In parallel with this great opportunity for customers, Oman Air's Inflight Duty Free teams have the prospect of winning a Kia Rio 1.4ex power H/B 5 door or a KIA Picanto 1.25 pwr A/T.

The Kia Rio will go to the individual who sells the most Duty Free items and the Kia Picanto will be awarded to the salesperson with the second highest number of sales.

Wayne Pearce, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, says:

"We are delighted to be giving every one of our Duty Free customers who spends over OR 50 the chance to drive away a brand new Kia Cerato. Having sampled Oman Air's outstanding passenger experience, what could be better than following it with a superb driving experience?

"It is also pleasing to be recognising the hard work and commitment shown by our Duty Free sales teams by giving them the chance to win one of two Kia cars. Following our last Duty Free incentive programme, my congratulations go to Nasser Al Kindy, whose sales achievements were so impressive that he won a Renault Duster. Good luck to those who follow in Nasser's footsteps."

Senior Flight Supervisor Nasser Al Kindy won a 2013-model Renault Duster 2.0 in Oman Air's first Duty Free incentive programme, which ran from October 1, 2012 to March 31.

A monthly prize of a Samsung 32-inch LCD TV was also awarded to the member of staff who had sold the most Duty Free products over the preceding four weeks. The scheme was received by staff with overwhelming enthusiasm and resulted in soaring duty free sales.
