BAGHDAD: The Iraqi Oil Ministry today signed a final contract with Pakistan Petroleum to invest the 8th Gas district in Wassit and Diala provinces at a cost of $100 million.

A statement received by Aswat al-Iraq noted that the area of the contract will reach 6000 square kilometers.

The Iraqi Cabinet approved the contract, which will be valid from the date of its signature.
