Tehran, Dec 14, IRNA
Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Moazam Khan said that President Asif Ali Zardari will pay a visit to Iran soon and the two countries officials are working on finding a suitable date for Zardari's visit.
Khan rejected some media hype over President Zardari's visit, and reiterated that the visit will take place after coordination is made between Tehran and Islamabad.
Certain media had claimed that the Pakistani president postponed his trip to Iran due to pressures exerted by the West.
Zardari and Iranian officials are due to discuss mutual cooperation and bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments during the Pakistani President's one-day trip to Iran.
Zardari plans to meet with Iranian officials President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to discuss bilateral ties between Tehran and Islamabad and the latest developments in the region.
