MUSCAT -- OCTAL Petrochemicals is supplying global consumer product giant, Procter & Gamble (P&G) with its high performance and low carbon footprint DPET sheet for the fourth consecutive year. The American Fortune 500 company uses DPET sheet for packaging all Oral-B branded toothbrushes sold in Europe. From its state-of-the-art PET complex located in the Salalah Free Zone, OCTAL delivers the finest quality and consistent PET sheet that enables brands and retail partners to package products with high visual appeal.

Construction is currently under way to increase production capacity of PET resin and sheet at the company's fourth and fifth manufacturing facilities with mechanical completion scheduled for February 2012. By May of this year, capacity will reach 927,000 tonnes per annum, making it the largest facility of its kind in the world on one site.
