Doha - The Heavy Equipment Department, one of the departments of Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons Services, and sole agent of the German BOMAG equipment in Qatar, organised a special conference on BOMAG equipment at the Four Seasons Hotel. The conference confirms the company's commitment to introducing consultants and specialized companies to the importance of modern heavy equipment and their ability to help them succeed in their businesses by providing them with their needs in equipment and modern techniques. Participants in the conference included representatives from BOMAG, specialized consultation companies, Ahmed Habib, General Manager of Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons, and Fouad Hijazi, Manager of Heavy Equipment Department.
In addition to a diversified agenda, the conference began with an introductory address on BOMAG and its equipments by Deiter Pfaf, Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa. Pfaf also shed light on the highly competent and flexible features of BOMAG equipments, which have proven their merit in the biggest highways, airports, and bridges projects all over the world. He also mentioned that all equipments conform to European and international standards and specifications with respect to environmentally harmful gas emissions. Engineer Hans, an applications expert in the area of soil and asphalt pressure, elaborated on the fundamentals of soil and asphalt compaction, and the main factors influencing the process and its applications on highways, railways and bridges.
