Nakheel, a Dubai-based developer, has floated a tender for Phase 1 road works on Deira Islands A and B.
The scope includes road works on nearly 860 hectares of Island A and B.
Tender documents are available for a non-refundable fee of USD 5,446 (AED 20,000) from 20 May while the final date of submission is 17 June, 2014.
In April, Nakheel awarded two design and supervision contracts worth over USD 12.8 million (AED 47 million) to American-design firm AE7.
The scope comprised the masterplanning, parcelisation and infrastructure design for Deira Islands, and the architectural and engineering services for the built form of the Night Market and Board Walk, two attractions on the 4.5 million square meters south island.
Deira Islands, a mixed-use waterfront development by Nakheel, will add 40 kilometers, including 21 kilometers of beachfront, to Dubai's coastline.
