Abu Dhabi, April 24th 2012 (WAM) -- Under the Chairmanship of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and President of Abu Dhabi University's Board of Trustees, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Vice-President of Abu Dhabi University's Board of Trustees attended the University's graduation ceremony of 6th batch which included 769 students of Bachelor and 377 from Master's programs.

The event was attended by Sheikh Hazza bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, Mugheer Khamis Al Khuyaili, Director General Abu Dhabi Education Council, Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, Abu Dhabi University Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, ADU Chancellor, members of Teaching and administrative staff and parents.

Sheikh Nahyan in his speech on the occasion said that in line with the instructions of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan the university is imparting the young generation with modern scientific education in order to open for themselves all fields to achieve their nation's ambition and goals as well as affirming country's interest through education and its role in achieving comprehensive development for the country.

He added that the successful march of the university is the result of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan's instructions and his keenness to attain highest quality and competence.
