Doha: Msheireb Hospitality, a subsidiary of Msheireb Properties, announced yesterday that it has appointed Hyatt Hotel Corporation to manage one of the four hotels in its flagship Msheireb Downtown Doha project.

Park Hyatt Doha will be a distinctive five-star hotel, located within the heart of the business district of Msheireb Downtown while maintaining excellent access to the airport and Doha's other business districts.

Msheireb Downtown, the world's first sustainable urban regeneration project, will regenerate 31 hectares site in the historical heart of Doha. The project aims to transform the old commercial and business district into the vibrant, cohesive and culturally alive city centre that it once was.

A US $5.5bn multipurpose development, Msheireb aims to change the way people live and work in an urban environment. Through the project, Msheireb Properties is setting new standards for urban regeneration in hot and arid countries around the globe. The company will accomplish this challenging vision by creating a total neighbourhood regeneration focused on sustainable lifestyles.
