Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) will produce 7.5m tons of steel by March 2015, Bahram Sobhani managing director of MSC announced on Monday.
Sobhani told IRNA that 20 percent of MSC's product will be exported to regional, Asian and European countries.
Pointing to 1.5m ton exports of the company this year, Sobhani said compared to the previous year's figure, the output will increase by about 50 percent.
Sobhani added that 50 percent of exported steel reached European markets, while the remaining 500,000 tons were exported to Persian Gulf littoral states and Southeast Asian markets.
Commenting on development plans of MSC, Sobhani said that 5m tons of concentrates as well as 5m tons of pellets will be produced in Sangan mines of Khorasan Razavi province.
By launching the development plan of Saba Steel Plant, the production capacity of the plant will increase by 800,000-ton by March 2015.
