The Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE) ended the day slightly in negative territory,the Moroccan All Shares Index (MASI) lost 0.05% to 4,574.09. The Most Active Shares Index (MADEX) was down 0.1% to 3,548.81.

The cession's volume reached a whopping 940,000 shares generating a turnover of MAD 188 million. Total market capitalization added up to MAD 207.9 billion.

A total of 14 stocks ended the day lower among which the cement manufacturer Holcim. It was down 0.34% to MAD 1,171 in a volume of 506 shares. The bank BCP lost 0.42% to MAD 714, while the oil refinery SAMIR was down 1.3% to MAD 340.5. The insurance company Wafa Assurance lost 1.33% to MAD 520, and the cooking oil producer Lesieur-Cristal 1.9% to MAD 1,030 in a volume of 2,020 shares. The steel manufacturer Sonasid lost 1.96% to MAD 702 and the mining company Managem was down 3.79% to 203 in a volume of 16,768 shares.

In contrast, a total of 10 stocks ended the day higher. The auto specialist Auto Nejma was up a robust 5.93% to MAD 750 in a volume of 703 shares. The bank CIH continued on its upward trend gaining 5.55% to MAD 73 in heavy volume of 304,534 shares.

The most traded stock in the cession was Itissalat Al Maghrib. A total of 589,018 shares representing 63% of today's volume changed hands. The stock gained 0.56% to MAD 85.98.
