DUBAI, 15th December, 2013 (WAM) -- Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works, has launched the 'Ruwaad Programme' at the Ministry's headquarters in Dubai, which comes within its strategy aimed at developing human resources and the implementation of the Emiratisation 'Tawteen' policy, as adopted by the Ministry.
It also aims to prepare specialised national cadres in the fields of engineering, which is associated with the nature of the Ministry's work. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Belhaif said, ''The programme comes in the light of the Ministry's strategic plans to upgrade and qualify national cadres by providing them with the latest knowledge, technologies and practical expertise in the specialised technical and engineering fields, in order to achieve the Ministry's policies in the field of Emiratisation." He added that as a result of the policy, the Ministry has adopted an approach based on the development of young national cadres in the engineering specialties, where the Ministry, in a short period, would be able to rely entirely on national recourses with higher qualifications in knowledge, skills and experience.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2013.
