Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Phosphate Co. signed a contract with a Chinese alliance, comprising Wengfu Group Co and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), to establish a phosphoric acid complex at a cost of $842 million in Abu Tartur in New Valley governorate.

The total investment cost of the project, which has an annual production capacity of 1 million tonnes, amounted to $1 billion, according to a statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum on Tuesday.

The project will be established over an area of about 560,000 square metres with a storage area of 3 million square metres.
