Tehran - A member of the Majlis (Parliament) said Tuesday that a due joint session of the Majlis Energy Commission and Oil Ministry of the country will strengthen investment security in oil projects.
Ghaffar Esmaeili told IRNA this session is due to be held on April 18 on the sidelines of the Iran Oil Show 2011 to be held on April 15-19.
The Iranian parliamentarian said the joint session of the Energy Commission of Majlis and Oil Ministry will confirm the existing good cooperation between the country's executive departments.
Iran's 16th International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2011) is to be held on April 15-19.
Some 1,390 foreign and domestic companies are to take part in the international event in Tehran.
Spain, Russia, Austria, Britain, Italy, Germany, India, Norway, Denmark, Singapore, the UAE, Canada, Brazil, China, Japan and Thailand are among those states participating in the Iran Oil Show 2011.
