CAIRO, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's National Karate team won third place and bronze medal on Friday in the Kumite (sparring) contest held here as part of the 11th Arab Games.
Kuwait's victory came on the expense of the Jordanian team with a 3-1 result.
Players Hussein Al-Qattan, Ahmad Al-Bathali, Khalid Al-Mutairi, Jassim Al-Khaldi and Mohammad Haidar were team members at the competition.
By this, the Kuwaiti karate delegation to the tournament had won five medal, one gold, one silver and three bronze medals. The delegation is set to leave tomorrow evening, heading back to Kuwait.
