KUWAIT, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- The exchange rate of the Kuwaiti dinar dropped against the US dollar to KD 0.274 and decreased against the euro to KD 0.381 on Sunday, said the daily bulletin of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK).

The Sterling pound increased to KD 0.437, the Japanese yen remained unchanged, KD 0.003, and the Swiss franc posted KD 0.310.

Global financial markets are currently witnessing jitters that impacted on the rate of the currencies, amid reports that the European leaders at their summit due today are expected to earmark up to USD 1.2 trillion to resolve the debts crisis gripping the continent nations.
