KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait University has already completed all its preparations and arrangements, including classrooms and labs, for the new scholastic year, university officials said on Wednesday.
All university departments have fulfilled their academic needs for both students and the faculty, directors of departments said.
The Faculty of Dentistry has prepared all necessary scientific laboratories and an all-out maintenance has been carried out for the clinical building, Jawad Gharbeeb of the faculty said.
The Faculty for Girls has had four electric lifts fixed for students with special needs, and high-profile restaurant companies have been contracted to serve better food services, Suad al-Kulaib, director of the faculty, said.
The Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum has renovated several buildings and provided them with necessary equipment.
The Faculty of Science has opened statistical laboratories and an oceanology center, and is pondering over the introduction of new oceanological and environmental programs in a bid to contribute to answer the labor market needs.
