AMMAN, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is taking part in Jordan's 14th Theatrical Festival, presenting works that shed light on modern-time issues of common concern for Arabs.
Secretary General of Kuwait's National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL) Bader Al-Rifai said in remarks to KUNA the participation constituted an opportunity to get acquainted with artistic works by fellow Arab troupes.
Al-Rifai, member of a delegation that includes Kuwaiti stars -- namely the actress Suad Abdullah, Mohammad Al-Rigae, Bader Muhareb and Ahlam Hassan -- said the delegation would take part in criticism sessions and would invite participants to perform shows in Kuwait.
The festival has honored Abdullah, Al-Rifai, Egyptian actor Yahiah Al-Fakhrani, Mohammad Al-Abadi and Bassem Dalqamoni from Jordan, and Sulaf Fawakherji from Syria.
The event includes the performance of 13 theatrical works from various Arab countries, seminars and photo shows.
