KUWAIT, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Football Association would resume next Sunday its activities by holding the four matches postponed from last Sunday, the Tournaments Committee's Rapporteur Saho Al-Saho told KUNA on Wednesday.

The four games will witness competitions between Arabi and Qadsiya; Kuwait and Yarmouk; Tadhamon and Fahaheel; and Sahel and Shabab.

The games scheduled for Thursday and Friday were postponed to January 26 and 27, he added, noting that the games previously scheduled for January 23, 26 and 27 were postponed till the fourth and fifth of March.

Concerning the matches of HH the Amir and HH the Crown Prince cups, Al-Saho expected holding them next May, after coordinating with local clubs, which have obligations abroad.

He noted that the Kuwait Football Association has been obliged to conclude the local league before the World Cup Finals, which will kick off on May 9, 2006 in Germany.

Therefore, three league matches would be held on January 26, Qadsiya against Kuwait; Arabi versus Shabab; and Yarmouk against Khaitan, he explained.

Moreover, the first half of the league would be concluded on January 27 with four games challenging Jahra with Sahel; Kazma with Solaybikhat; Tadhamon with Nasr; and Salmiya with Fahaheel.
