RABAT, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- With the opening of Kuwaiti Book Fair and Original Heritage Exhibition, the activities of Kuwait Cultural and Media Days Morocco started in Sla city, on the outskirts of the capital city of Rabat, Monday.
The days, being held in this great historical city, will display some aspects of the cultural movement in Kuwait, said Director of the Information Office of Kuwait Embassy here Muhammad Al-Hajri who organizes the activities in cooperation with Abi-Riqraq Society.
The activities will also highlight the features shared by the two sisterly countries in several fields, he told the opening ceremony that was attended by several Moroccan intellectuals as well as Councilor of Kuwaiti Ministry of Information for foreign affairs Fahad Al-Ajmi.
Al-Hajri hailed the brotherly bonds between the Kuwaiti and Moroccan peoples.
The book fair will display books and photographs that show the brotherly ties between the two peoples and the contributions of the Kuwaiti Development Fund in Moroccan development projects, he added.
As part of the activities, that will continue through next Wednesday, a student cultural contest will be held to highlight the role of culture in bringing peoples together.
Al-Hajri also praised the role of Abi-Riqraq Society in organizing the activities that would be followed by more important events in the future.
