Today the Kurdistan Region's Parliament will end its summer recess and begin its session.
In a statement the parliament asked members to attend today's session, which is the first meeting of the fourth year in the third election round of the Kurdistan Parliament.
The meeting began at 11:00am today.
Media advisor for Kurdistan's Parliament speaker Tareq Jawhar said: "The meeting will begin with a speech by parliament speaker Arsalan and he will explain the work and agenda for the next session."
The summer recess lasted two months.
