KUWAIT, May 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) stressed Thursday the success of the 4th GCC quality control forum it held under the patronage of Oil Minister Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah.

KNPC's Deputy Managing Director for Al-Ahmadi Port Refinery Asaad Al-Saad said about 400 people participated in the two-day forum that concluded Wednesday, representing Kuwaiti and Gulf ministries and companies, adding that participants agreed on preparing a "quality road map".

There is a plan to establish a Kuwaiti association for quality and preparations are taking place in coordination with Dr. Tareq Al-Duwaisan of Kuwait University, he noted.

A total of 13 papers on field experiences in GCC countries were presented at the forum, Al-Duwaisan said.
