KUWAIT, July 24 (KUNA) -- The King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and his accompanying delegation arrived in Kuwait on Monday for an official short visit for talks with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the serious situation in Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The King of Jordan was received by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Parliament Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi, Deputy Head of the National Guards Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, and other senior officials.
King Abdullah II is accompanied by a high-rank delegation that groups Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein, King Abdullah's Office Director Dr. Basem Awadhallah, the King's Special Advisor Farouq Al-Qasrawi, intelligence chief Major General Mohammed Al-Thahabi, Jordan's Ambassador to Kuwait Jumaa Al-Abadi, and a number of senior officials in the Jordanian government.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will hold a luncheon at Bayan Palace in honor of King Abdullah II and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of the their visit.
