MUSCAT -- The latest in the series of National Product Promotion programmes conducted by Khimji's Mart, under the theme 'Genuinely Omani, Proudly Omani', was flagged off by the Wali of Saham Shaikh Khaleef Salam Abdullah al Ifhaqi at Khimji's Mart Saham. The Khimji's Mart promotion is a two week campaign to be conducted from the May 5 to 20.

The main objective behind the theme 'Genuinely Omani, Proudly Omani' is to promote and give appropriate exposure to local products through promotions and attractive displays. In its fourth edition, Khimji's Mart has seen impressive inspiring success in the popularity of local products year on year.

Speaking on the occasion Anil Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas, said "Khimji's Mart has been in the forefront of Omanisation and that this programme is one such initiative which brings the National products closer to the consumers. The exhibition is our passageway to reach out to our customers in the interior markets. We strongly believe that the higher exposure we create for the local manufacturers and distributors the more long term demand it will create for increase in the sales of local based products.

Nissan, the leading automobile seller in Oman partnered with Khimji's Mart to organise the National Products Promotion. Besides, a number of leading companies came forward to support this initiative of National Product Promotion, those include Areej Vegetable Oil & Derivatives, National Detergent Company, BSJ, Oman Foodstuff Factory to name a few.

Khimji's Mart, offers a wide range of mass-market products that are sought after by a majority of consumers. The product and offers for the National Product Promotion have been very carefully devised so that the promotion truly achieves its objectives promising 'more for less'. Adil Ghouse, CEO, Khimji Ramdas' Consumer Products Group said, "At Khimji's Mart, our aim is to reach the local customers by giving them the finest value-added service for home grown products. Omani Products have now become real front runners on account of their quality and freshness.

The mix of products in our present promotion include, fresh Omani food products ranging from spices to vegetables, frozen food as well as household items. To popularise this promotion, advertising leaflets and flyers with the products details and promotional offers have been distributed in the capital and interior parts of the country. We expect a large number of local customers to be benefited through this activity".
