BAMAKO/BISSAU, 9th July, 2014 (WAM) -- The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has implemented its Iftar project in Guinea-Bissau and Mali.

Mohammed Rashid Al-Rashidi, U.A.E. Ambassador to Senegal, oversaw the distribution of more than 800 food baskets in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guinea and a number of Imams and officials.

In Mali, the Khalifa Foundation distributed 6,000 meals in the capital, Bamako, and a number of villages.

The Khalifa Foundation implements Iftar projects to reach those in need in more than 60 countries.
