Irbid - The Faculty of Agriculture at the Jordan University of Science and Technology(JUST) to hold its seventh Scientific Agriculture Conference (SSAC-2012)on the occasion of its silver jubilee ,during the period 8-10 Oct.
SSAC-2012 will be held in cooperation with Faculties of Agriculture at Jordanian Universities, Association of Agricultural Engineers, National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension and Private Sector.
Around 115 participants representing 16 Arab and foreign countries will take part in the three-day conference,which will include a two-day symposium (oral presentations and poster display) followed by a one day scientific tour. The symposium will be accompanied by Agricultural Exhibition.
Chairman of the conference organizing committee Prof. Ghazi Al-Karaki said that the conference aims to shed light on the latest agricultural techniques and research to find solutions to various agricultural problems.
The conference will feature papers from several countries including Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Algeria, Yemen, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Australia, Germany, Iran and the United States, focusing on agriculture,environment , food and water.
