Jumeirah Beach Club 'A' and Al Wasl Club are tied at the top after seven rounds in the premier division of the Men's Prince Tennis League, which resumed after the Christmas break. While Al Wasl defeated Metropolitan Beach Resort 5-1, Jumeirah Beach Club 'A' blanked Al Nasr 6-0 to be tied at the top.
India Club 'A' are in third place following their 5-1 win over Jumeirah Beach Club 'B'.
India Club 'B' were beaten by Dubai Police 'B' 4-2 in the Premier 2 division, but managed to stay at the top with a five-point advantage. Sharjah Grand drew a closely-fought tie 3-3 with the Aviation Club.
Division 1 saw the biggest upset as Jumeirah Club 'C' edged past leaders Super Sports Mina Seyahi 'A' 5-4, while Super Sports Mina Seyahi 'C' also managed an identical win against Dubai Marine Beach Club.
In other matches, the Dubai Country Club beat Super Sports Mina Seyahi 'B' 6-3 while the Jumeirah Beach Hotel beat Super Sports Mina Seyahi 'D' 6-3.
