Amman - Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Fayez Tarawneh Monday discussed with Italian Defense Minister, Giampaolo Di Paola means of increasing bilateral cooperation especially in defense and military industries.
During the meeting ,Tarawneh briefed the Italian official on Jordan's reform process and steps adopted to speed up reforms in the Kingdom. He also reviewed the economic challenges facing the Kingdom.
Jordan supports regional stability without interference in other countries' internal affairs, Tarawneh said.
The Italian official ,who is currently visiting the Kingdom to participate in the Exhibition and Conference Special Operations Forces (SOFEX 2012), stressed that Italy and Europe are considering Jordan as a cornerstone of stability in the region.
He also expressed admiration of Jordan's efforts to realize reforms, enhance democracy and establish stability in the region.
