TUNISIAONLINENEWS- According to the website "Easy Voyage", the UK based low-cost airline Jet2.com will soon launch new weekly flights from Glasgow to Monastir.

The direct flights will start on April 6,  2011 writes the website who quotes Anissa Ramoundi, UK & Ireland Director of the Tunisian National Tourist Office as saying that "It's very exciting to see more and more UK operators increasing their flights to Tunisia to keep up with the demand from British travelers".

The direct flights will start with prices beginning at around £59.99 one way, including taxes.

Several low cost airlines such as Transavia, Ryanair, Thomsonfly, and Easy Jet will  start operating services to Tunisia as of next summer.
