ROME: UAE Ambassador to Italy Abdul Aziz Bin Nasser Al-Shamsi on Thursday met Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Stephania Kraski to discuss arrangements for Italy's participation at the International Maritime Counter-Piracy Conference, scheduled in Dubai, UAE from April 17th and 19th, and the EU-GCC Joint Council and Ministerial Meeting in Abu Dhabi on April 20th.
The Italian official will represent Italy to the forthcoming meeting. Kraski, in remarks at a farewell reception in honor of Musto Melhem, Lebanese Ambassador and dean of Arab diplomats in Rome, to mark the end of his tenure in Italy, stressed the Italian government's interest in further promoting relations with Arab countries in efforts to preserve global peace and stability.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2011.
