MUSCAT -- The Information Technology Authority (ITA) of Oman held its board meeting yesterday under the auspices of Mohammed Nasser al Khusaibi, Chairman of ITA. Besides approving the ITA's financial budget for 2010, the Board also discussed the Government eServices portal of the Sultanate of Oman, the soft launch of which was held on May 25, 2009.
Further, the Board reviewed the final version of the eOman rebranding strategy, and discussed proposals for upgrading the e-government services of various stakeholders of eOman. Members also reviewed the outcome of the 2nd Government eServices Exhibition held as part of COMEX 2009.
