The Third Conference of Kurdistan Islamic Union Party has began in Sulaimaniyah today in Kurdistan region.
"Shafaq News" followed the course of the first day of the conference where the Secretary-General of the Federation , Mohammed Faraj delivered a speech in which the Islamic Union position from the beginning was against ISIS organization's policies and condemned it.
Faraj said that the most manifestations that appeared on the political scene in Iraq and Kurdistan recently is the emergence of "ISIS" organization that has raised a range of intellectual, social, political and security issues, which has preoccupied the whole world, noting that it caused disabling many of the institutions and departments in the governments of Iraq and Kurdistan and weakened economic situation and has created exceptional political situation.
He added that it also resulted in the creation of the same exceptional case in the political parties that are moving in the general political atmosphere.
Then the conference work began by reading the political report of the Political Bureau , the party's organization centers and its meetings of the past two years by the Deputy Secretary-General of the party, Said Ali Abbo.
Then the secretary of the Leadership Council for the Islamic Union report on the past two years, the leadership of the Council and its meetings and explain how the election centers, offices and organizations, officials of the centers.
