Abu Dhabi, 19 Oct. 04 (WAM) -- The prophetic guidance conference onmissionary work and guidance to be hosted by Abu Dhabi from October 25to 30 will send a firm message to the world about the true image of Islam,according to the Mufti of Palestine Sheikh Ekrima Sabri.
''The patronage of President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyanof the forum underlines the UAE sincere effort to explain to the wholeworld the tolerance of Islam and to spread the true message of Islam amongthe young generations in the Arab and Muslim countries,'' he saidin an interview with Emirates News Agency (WAM).
He hoped the meeting would come up with psoitive results that protect Islamic shrines in Palestine.
Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf Mohammed bin NakhiraAl Dhahiri said in a press conference last week the six-dayforum would be shinning spot in the path of Islamic work.
''The gathering will mirror the moderate and tolerant image of Islamwhich based of prudence and good preaching,'' he said.
He added that the conference research papers would revolve aroundthree themes , the Islamic address, extremism problem and Islam'stolerance and forgiveness.
