Customs officials of Iran, Turkey and Pakistan in a statement on Monday called for enhanced cooperation to build transport corridor between the three countries.
Deputy Minister of Trade and Director of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration Abbas Me'marnejad, Turkish Deputy President of Customs Administration Zia Alton Yaldiz, Pakistani Director for Customs Affairs Nesar Mohammed and Under Secretary-General of Economic Cooperation Organization Altaf Asghar signed the statement.
The statement underlined joint efforts to expand trilateral cooperation and ties, increased efforts to facilitate and ease customs formalities and standardizing the transport and transit regulations by the three countries, construction of railway to link them and form the corridor.
