TEHRAN - National Confidence Party Chief Mahdi Karrubi will visit Kuwait at the invitation of Kuwait's parliament speaker.
"Following an official invitation by Jassem Mohammed al-Khorafi, the speaker of Kuwait Majlis, Hojjatoleslam Mahdi Karrubi will start a four-day visit to this country" from March 16-20, said Mohammadreza Nuri Shahrudi, head of the NCP committee for international affairs.
"The four-day visit is aimed at deepening friendly relations between the brotherly nations of Iran and Kuwait."
Former Majlis speaker, Karrubi, also visited Beijing on December 1 in the wake of an invitation by the Chinese communist party secretary general.
