KASBAH - Interim Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali Tuesday conferred, in Kasbah, with Mr. Aymen Machrafa, the newly appointed Ambassador of Egypt in Tunis.
The talk focused on ways to strengthen co-operation between the two countries in different areas, said a Prime Ministry statement.
After the meeting, the Ambassador of Egypt emphasised the "common desire to step up commercial exchanges and develop a proper platform to increase the level of commercial transactions between the two sides from 400 million dollars now to 1 billion dollars."
He also stressed the commitment of both countries to take all needed measures to ease visa-granting procedures to Tunisian and Egyptian citizens.
